The share savings account establishes your City & County membership and represents your share as an owner of City & County Credit Union. Your account earns a dividend, which is declared at the end of each quarter. If the account is closed prior to the end of the quarter, the dividend is not paid.

Money market savings accounts are perfect for the saver who wishes to earn a higher rate of interest by maintaining the minimum balance.

• Minimum balance: $2,500 (a fee is charged if you fall below $2,500)
• Interest accrues daily, paid monthly

A CD is a safe investment that allows you to earn a higher interest rate. CDs have various terms and interest repayment options.

• Minimum balance: $1,000 ($100 for ages 18 and younger)

Savings Builder CDs work towards a regular CD. Over the 12-month term*, you may add money to the balance as often as you wish. You may convert to a regular CD once your balance reaches $1,000.

• Maximum balance: $5,000
